Perry’s Ice Cream, Akron, N.Y., is expanding its line of “Perfectly Churned” Light ice creams. Perry’s “Perfectly Churned” Light ice creams are carefully crafted one batch at a time to give consumers all the creaminess and taste you would expect from Perry’s but with half the fat and fewer calories of regular ice cream, says Perry’s.

“Health conscious consumers can now treat themselves to three delicious new flavors: Lemon Meringue, light lemon ice cream with swirls of meringue and pie crust pieces; Blueberry Cheesecake, light cheesecake flavored ice cream with blueberry swirls and graham cracker pieces; and Rocky Road, light chocolate ice cream with marshmallow swirls, almonds and chocolate flakes),” says Michael Brown, senior product manager.

Perry’s Perfectly Churned line also includes ten other flavors, including Vanilla, Panda Paws and Peanut Butter Cup.

“Consumers are actively looking for ways to indulge without the guilt, its no wonder why light ice cream is the fastest growing trend in the ice cream category,” says Brown.

Consumers can scoop up Perry’s new flavors at retail locations across Western New York, including TOPS Markets, Wegmans, Wilson Farms, Shurfine Markets and other regional supermarkets.
